Muzaka was drifting in and out of sleep as he lay in bed. It had been a while since he'd seen Frankenstein but it hadn't been too long. Not yet. Frankenstein had had breakfast at least.

If he didn't see Frankenstein in the morning, then he'd go hunt him out.

Muzaka heard the bedroom door creak open and he grumbled in greeting, turning over to give Frankenstein some space. There wasn't much point when he would move again once he was asleep, but Frankenstein would be able to get into bed.

Muzaka jolted awake at the ice touching him, a yelp leaving his throat at the feeling.

Frankenstein snuggled closer with a sigh, wrapping around Muzaka like he was trying to have as much contact with Muzaka as much as possible.

He probably was to try and warm up, shivers rippling down his body.

Frankenstein wasn't wet and Muzaka didn't think it had been raining.

"Where were you?" Muzaka mumbled, already starting to drift back to sleep as he warmed up.

"In the lab."

Of course. Muzaka grumbled, grabbing the rest of the blanket and making sure Frankenstein was as tucked in as much as possible. "Do you hafta make it so cold?" It got noticeably colder once Muzaka stepped into Frankenstein's lab, but he didn't think it was that cold.

"Yes! Any warmer could potentially ruin the samples!" Frankenstein's voice was muffled under the blanket.

"Then what about wearing more layers?" That had to help.

"And bring in potential contaminants?" Frankenstein lifted his face so Muzaka could see just how affronted he was.

Muzaka didn't know what that was but it seemed important. "All right, all right," he said, tucking Frankenstein back under the blanket.

Frankenstein was warming up, becoming less of a block of ice and relaxing against him.

Muzaka wrapped an arm around Frankenstein and started drifting back to sleep now that he was closer to his normal temperature.
