Frankenstein hummed under his breath as he cleaned his hands on an untouched piece of cloth that looked like it might have been used to wipe down the tabletops in the Union lab he and Muzaka had hit. While the cloth was stained with whatever liquids the scientists had been experimenting with, it was still cleaner than what was left of his shirt, and far less bloodstained.

The lab had been relatively small, with not many guards. Not that that would have made much difference, but it certainly had made things go even faster than expected.

There had been no current ongoing experiments either, and by the looks of it, the scientists had been in the process of relocating.

There wasn't anyone left to double-check with, but the signs were there, and Frankenstein was sure it wouldn't take too long to dig through the files to find out. There was bound to be a number of people who had just jotted down the information in plain sight.

Once he finished cleaning his hands, he thumbed through one of the journals that had been left on the counter, rolling his eyes at how the research wasn't encoded even before reading what exactly was being done here.

He heard Muzaka enter the lab behind him while he continued grumbling over the shoddy workmanship. Really, it was a wonder the scientists hadn't accidentally blown - hah, there had been at least one mishap caused from this, and that was what they were willing to admit on paper.

"We were saving them from themselves," Frankenstein commented. "Wasting their time on outdated information." He'd disproven all this decades ago - there was no need to experiment on people to find that out again. And since the scientists had felt the need to experiment on humans, well. It was better they were dealt with before they continued on their research.

He was met with silence, and Frankenstein raised his head from the journal. It was unusual for Muzaka to not respond, and hm, normally Muzaka would have greeted him one way or another, even if they'd only been out of sight for a few minutes.

Muzaka was still transformed, his eyes glowing softly in the dim light, a low growl rumbling past his sharp teeth. His expression was blank as he gazed at Frankenstein, his breathing deeper. Scenting the air. Frankenstein had felt Muzaka's aura pressing on him, but he was so used to Muzaka's presence, he'd merely acknowledged that Muzaka was there, rather than the challenge to a fight that it was.

"My apologies," Frankenstein said, turning fully as he set the journal down beside him. "I was distracted enough to not realise you were waiting for me." It was hard to tell when Muzaka looked like that if he wanted to spar, or have more...intimate relations. But then with werewolves, they both usually ended in the same way.

Still. He should have realised there was a chance that Muzaka would have gotten worked up with all the fighting.

Muzaka lunged at him, claws already out, lips parted and aiming for his neck.

They could spare the time to get rid of some excess energy, and get their hearts pumping properly. There wouldn't be anyone else there for a while.
