"Ah, there you are."

Muzaka had enough time to register Frankenstein's voice before Frankenstein wrapped his arms around Muzaka's waist.

Which was a little strange, to be honest. Usually Muzaka almost had to drag Frankenstein out of the lab before he willingly left.

Had things gone so badly Frankenstein was taking a break before diving back in?

"What's-" Muzaka yelped when Frankenstein snaked his hands lower, slipping them under Muzaka's top. Something large and frozen was laid across Muzaka's stomach. He tried to lunge away, but Frankenstein held him fast, keeping the thing pressed to Muzaka's skin.

"What are you holding?" Muzaka demanded, squirming against whatever it was.

"Nothing," Frankenstein said, his face buried in Muzaka's shoulder.

"Nothin'?" Muzaka looked down, flipping up the bottom of his top.

It was just Frankenstein's palms pressed up against Muzaka's stomach. "Your hands are freezin'!"

"Yes." Frankenstein's voice was still muffled. "That's why I'm using you to warm them up."

That would explain why Frankenstein had gone looking for him - Frankenstein couldn't work properly if his hands didn't do what he wanted.

Muzaka wrapped his hands around Frankenstein's, hearing Frankenstein hum. They weren't quite ice, but they were coldest he had felt Frankenstein be. Huh.

"You know..." Muzaka said, turning his head to kiss Frankenstein's forehead, "I could help warm you up in a more fun way..."

"...Hm." Frankenstein lifted his hands so Muzaka could wrap them up better. "I would be open to that suggestion."

"I should hope so!" Muzaka grinned as he turned around, even though he had to let go of Frankenstein's hands.

Frankenstein's lips weren't as cold as his hands, and Muzaka got to work on warming the rest of him up.
