Everything was big here. Unfamiliar. Min-gyu sniffed around the room he was in. It smelled like him, but he didn't know where he was.
The house was silent. That was unfamiliar too. There was normally sounds, from the TV, or neighbours. Shouting.
Then... Was he alone...?
Min-gyu sat down, tipped his head back and howled.
People didn't normally like that, but then he'd know he wasn't alone.
No response.
Ears pulling back, Min-gyu howled again.
Was he completely alone? Was there no-one else the-
Another howl answered him.
Min-gyu froze, ears pricking. He'd never heard a howl from someone else before. A shout similar to a howl, yelling at him to be quiet, but this was different.
This was...from someone like him?
Min-gyu rushed to the door but it was closed. He scrabbled at the handle, barking when it resisted, his paws sliding off it. What if the other one didn't know he was there? What if the other one left?
Left him alone.
Again.
He stilled when he heard movement outside the door. Had he made too much noise? (Of course he had. He always did)
He shied away from the door, eyeing where he could hide. Under the bed? Through one of the other doors?
Too late, the door handle was opening. If he bolted now, he'd be see-
A wolf was on the other side of the door.
A huge wolf, who looked like they might not be able to fit through the door they were so big.
The wolf squeezed in, charging at him.
Min-gyu yelped and scrambled away. He didn't get far, tripping over his paws, and he shook as he waited for the first blow.
It didn't come.
He peeked, and the wolf's snout was right there next to him. Their head was so big Min-gyu could have fitted in their mouth. What...?
The wolf huffed, Min-gyu feeling his fur ruffle, and wriggled closer.
Not attacking him.
Not moving.
Calming down a little, Min-gyu looked over the wolf. The wolf had a few gaps in their fur, showing deep scars underneath. Their fur was a similar colour to his own, and...
They were standing weird.
They'd put their head down on the ground, laying down on their front paws, but their back legs were still standing.
And their tail was wagging?
The wolf's tail wagged harder as the wolf wriggled closer, so much that they almost touched.
This...was okay?
Min-gyu leaned forward and their noses touched.
He yelped as the wolf became a flurry of movement. Had he done wrong? Was he not supposed to-
He looked over at a half bark, the wolf back at the door, back in that weird position again. The wolf bounced back to their feet and dashed out of sight.
Oh. They were gone.
But...he wasn't alone. And the wolf hadn't been mad at him. That was-
He blinked at a half bark, the wolf back again. Why-?
Min-gyu didn't move when the wolf squeezed back into the room, and started nudging at him with their snout.
Did... Did they want him to go somewhere?
Okay.
He could do that.
Min-gyu got to his feet, his breath catching in his throat when the wolf started cleaning him.
When...had someone last done that for him...?

Frankenstein yawned as he left the lab. He'd stayed longer than expected, and it was a surprise Muzaka hadn't come to check on him yet. Well, he must have been bu...
Ah.
He exhaled, leaning a shoulder on the living room doorframe. A very large silver wolf was sleeping on his back, his legs in the air, a much smaller silver pup sleeping next to him, almost hidden under the bigger one's fur, a small snout peeking through.
Frankenstein had forgotten it was a full night tonight. They both had, and Min-gyu was far too young to have been affected, which he would need to check later.
In the meantime, Frankenstein would fetch a blanket and a change of clothes for when they woke up, and he'd start preparing breakfast.
I've named this series Little Wolf. I have to have a transformed M-21, ahaha.
